Cubbyhole Central Coast
/Hand painting signs once again for the fab crew at Cubbyhole, this time down at Warnervale.
Like the self storage facility in Newcastle, this site continued the periodic table theme on the doors for their numbers. Why not, it was such a clever idea ! This design is a bit different though with the inclusion of the vertical windows in units
Once again we were lucky to work in all the elements (ha) sometimes it felt like it was going to snow, or just blow us away in the gale force winds. But then you would go around the other side of the units and bathe in the glorious warmth of the sun. Add a bit or rain and the day was complete.
Once we had finally marked and taped each door the painting was completed. It was quite satisfying when it was time to remove the tape. At the times when we just could not even contemplate painting outdoors we would move inside to continue the creative design on the internal doors. Bit more calm let me tell you.
As hard as this job was it was brilliant to look back at what we had achieved in such adverse conditions.
Royce worked so hard on this project, working around all the other trades in terrible conditions, but it was lucky that everyone onsite were helpful.
